My Experience

I began tutoring after my A-Levels in 2019. Since then I have been tutoring every year alongside my own university studies, and occasionally over the summer. I have tutored online and in-person through popular tutoring websites and direct connections.

Teaching Style

All students will learn best in different ways. I will always cater to the style in which student learns best. Finding this can take time but I regularly seek feedback in order to help you the best I can.

Sparking interest in these subjects can often improve motivation, so I try to bring in real-world examples or interesting and digestible pieces of work from my degree. Although sometimes working closer to the course and focusing on past papers and examples can be the best way to quickly get through the material.

Lesson Format

Depending on student needs, I am happy to adjust things slightly, but generally lessons are conducted as follows: I setup a Zoom meeting and screenshare using Microsoft OneNote. Notes and questions made during the lesson can be shared afterwards, and depending on the content of the lesson, questions and revision material can be emailed over in advance.

I am also happy to offer guidance over emails if students have any questions outside of our lessons with homeworks or other material that may have come up at school.

Subjects

In order to give the best teaching possible, I exclusively teach Maths and Physics for GCSE and A-Level. Although this can extend to university entrance examinations or similar tests.
